Jessica Amaro has had a never-ending love affair with making a difference. Her desire to be an agent for change began as a child taking care of her younger special needs sister and evolved into a passion for creating award-winning community events and publications. She has been recognized by countless outlets as a “Motivational Powerhouse,” and has been the catalyst for inspiring countless individuals to Dream Big.

Jessica has over a decade of experience as the director of training for a national behavioral care organization, where she helped shape and modernize clinical treatment planning for the most vulnerable populations.

Jessica is a trauma-informed and special needs advocate, a national best-selling author, and a well-established entrepreneur. As of today, her most notable projects include A Very Special Prom, For The Exceptional, Don’t Become Your Bullshit, a CBT based book series, Brown Girl Guidebooks Series, and the Ready, Set, Plan Book Series.

Jessica is a proud product of an HBCU. Her best moments are spent enjoying time with her loving husband and two children. She plans to continue to boldly live in pursuit of her passions, wherever they may take her.
